Uber Eats wanted a summer-themed ad that would increase its mobile app sign ups, usage and awareness. The call-to-action was for readers to refer their friends and family to sign up to the Uber Eats app by the end of summer.
Reflection
For this mobile ad, I instinctually tied the idea of summer with food. And what is one of the most refreshing foods to combat a hot summer’s day? Ice cream!
When you think of Uber Eats, you do not necessarily think of ice cream delivery, so this ad reminds the reader that they can. With summer and ice cream in mind, I took this opportunity to announce Uber Eats’ ability to deliver any food, including ice cream.
“Stay cool, even when the ice cream truck is M.I.A.” ensures the reader that they can have ice cream whenever they want, wherever they want, any time.
